The Awesomeness of Strangers

This one isn't a good deed done by me, just one I witnessed: At the airport, there was a middle-aged black man with a cool shirt (it had a guitar and a tree merged into one picture somehow - I'm thinking Matt Maggiacomo needs this shirt!). It's harder to be awesome when you're sick...

I'm on vacation! So, naturally, I caught two different kinds of nasty at the same time this week... SUPERAWESOME MEGA NEWSSSSSSS

Midweek

Well in the past three days, Feb. 10 tot Feb.12, there wasn't much awesomeness to report. Just being myself, working hard, being nice to colleagues etc... A brief 3 day review

So the weekend was extremly uneventful! I dodn't even leave the house. What I did was to spend the day purifiyiing all the water in Washington and killing evil supermutnats. Which is a complete waste of the weekend. Unless of course the video game is like The Never Ending Story and its all real, which would then mean I did an awesome thing. End of Week 1

So let's start with Friday : simple things but still little awesomeness f.e. I picked up a scarf a colleague had dropped in the firm's eating place, so she didn't have to stoop and do weird manoeuvres with her empty food tray. I also stayed later in the office, even if it wasn't my turn this Friday. Saturday wasn't awesome at all. I've been bad... Feb 5 & 6

Hi again! February 5 was Thursday... what did I do on Thursday?... well, I went to work! Ninja!Blog 2!

yay, awesome good deed for today! Mr Mousey who has been getting drunk off our chocolate liquers was tracked down today, he was stuck in our bin. No doubt there were tasty things in there, but he wasnt too happy to find himself trapped. Richard (the new guy) and I just released him back into the fields outside...I'm sure he'll find his way back here someday, but for now our good deed is letting him go, instead of smooshing him (like some people have suggested) Hooray! Book Crossing Awesomeness

So, I've decided that one of the major ways I want to Be Awesome this month is by releasing books into the wild. I want to explain why I think this is awesome. I love my books. I love reading them, talking about them, and re-reading them again and again. However, there's this great organization online called Book Crossing. A week of Awesomeness.

So - my church is collecting a bunch of stuff for people who need it, and I'm helping. * I donated breakfast foods to Circle of Concern, a food bank kind of place. Late, late, late (as usual)

I haven't had much of a chance to be awesome yet, mainly because I've been off work (annual leave) but I have baked and decorated a birthday cake for my partner (it is chocolate, with chocolate icing, white choc chips and chocolate buttons). Right now i wish to sleep!

I'm so friggin tired! Didn't get much sleep and work was very drainy today. I got home and found I have a million things to-do! People have been replying to my wall posts, which is freaking awesome, however I now have to reply back, and by now I mean tomorrow. I am finishing this then slumbering.
